Dear
family4life,
My wife and two sons (ages 2
& 6) recently moved from Pa. to Va., I
am in the Navy. There are still boxes throughout the house. During
the unpacking process, we have come across many of the kids toys.
Well our two year old (Seth) has this drill that he walks around
with, seems to be a favorite of his. Sat morning I decided to take
him and the toy to the laundry room and put fresh batteries in the
"Noise maker" that he is so fond of.
During the process he is helping
me and is very attentive to how the process works, plus the usual
"Why..why...why..." At the conclusion of putting the
batteries in the toy and ensuring it still functioned, I tested it
and then gave it to him. Once in his hands he smiled from ear to
ear and looked at me and said..."I'm proud of you".
Between the chuckles and a kiss to his fore head.....I simple
could only say "Thank you".
