Note: Taxes are calculated using the IRS 2000 Tax Table, and include estimated state/local taxes. Miscellaneous expenses can be used for clothing, dining out, and other extra-curricular activities. Disposable Income is the remaining income that you can determine to use for anything (i.e. car notes, student loan payments, tuition, investments, charities, gifts, vacation planning, etc.). We promote a debt-free lifestyle, and do not encourage using credit cards unless you are able to use your disposable income or other income to pay them off completely when they are due. The key to successful financial freedom is to live within your means, stick to your budget, and save for the "extras" you wish to buy (such as a new car, a vacation, new "gadgets," luxury items, etc.). |
