A new study reveals that using a pain-relieving eardrop instead of an antibiotic does the job just as well. The remedy is more economical and also reduces antibiotic overuse, which many experts blame for creating resistant strains of bacteria. "If your child is still in pain or has a fever after a couple of days, it's appropriate to use antibiotics," says lead investigator Paul S.
